End Special Anti-Robbery Squad or #EndSARS is a social movement in Nigeria that started on Twitter calling for banning of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, a unit of the Nigerian Police Force. It is a call to end police oppression and brutality in Nigeria.
Earlier, American rapper, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B also sent a message of togetherness to Nigerians last week. Now, the evergreen R&B singer, Celine Dion has sent a powerful emotional message to Nigerians on Twitter.
Celine Dion tweeted; “My heart is melting after reading what is going on in Nigeria…#EndSARS #EndPoliceBrutality”.
