The Zimbabwean gov’t has dropped all fraudulent charges against the late Ginimbi Kadungure according to The Herald Zimbabwe.

The late socialite was believed to be involved in some fraudulent deals before his death which led to him being charged by the state for fraud. The deceased socialite was believed to have devalued his Rolls Royce and Bentley in an attempt to lower the amount of money he would have paid to the government in taxes. Ginimbi was alleged to have fooled the Zimbabwean revenue authority into believing his Rolls Royce was worth $3 million whiles the actual price of the vehicle was $5 million. As a result of this, the socialite got away with paying over $90k to the government in taxes.

His attorneys recently approved for the case to be withdrawn by presenting his death certificate to the court which the state has obliged. In relation to his businesses his business manager in an interview with H Metro said:

Right now it’s important for people to understand that the family is mourning, they aren’t focused on who is taking what because they are hurt that he is gone, it’s sad that there different articles, news going around but I can tell you that the family isn’t worried about what’s going around with the business or the assets, they are hurt because they have lost someone they love.

Ginimbi was recently laid to rest at his Domboshava mansion in Zimbabwe.
