Portuguese footballer, Christiano Ronaldo has rendered a sincere apology to a young Everton football fan who he smashed his phone on the pitch after his team, Manchester United lost to Everton on Saturday.

It would be recalled that footage surfaced on social media that captured the moment Ronaldo angrily stormed out of the pitch after his team lost the game. While getting to the entrance, a fan was filming him as he approaches in anger.
Out of disappointment and anger, Christiano Ronaldo smashed the phone out of the boy’s hand and never showed any sign of remorsefulness for his violent actions.
Well, Christiano Ronaldo probably after calming down has realized his fault and has rendered a sincere apology to the young Everton fan for smashing his phone. The footballer blamed his actions on the fact that he was dealing with a lot of emotions especially after they were defeated by Everton.
He also sent an invitation to the young boy to watch a game with him at the Old Trafford as a sign of fair play and sportsmanship.
He wrote; It’s never easy to deal with emotions in difficult moments such as the one we are facing. Nevertheless, we always have to be respectful, patient and set the example for all the youngsters who love the beautiful game. I would like to apologize for my outburst and, if possible, I would like to invite this supporter to watch a game at Old Trafford as a sign of fair-play and sportsmanship.🙏🏽
