The information minister, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has challenged anyone who doesn’t believe there have been two recorded cases of COVID-19 in the country to find the victims and hug them and watch the consequences.

After the press release and the information from the ministry, some people suspected that the ruling government had all this planned out just to misuse the $100 Million for their campaign in the upcoming elections.

The President on Wednesday addressed the nation on the preparedness of the government against the deadly disease claiming thousands of lives. He announced that an amount of $100 Million have been set aside to be used to fight the disease.

In an interview on Onua FM’s “Yen sempa”, Mr Oppong Nkrumah stated that anyone who doesn’t believe there are two people infected by the disease should come forward so he/she can be taken to where they’ve been quarantined and see if they will survive.

Mr Oppong Nkrumah stated that the two victims have been in the country for about a week with one of them being a Ghanaian who came back Turkey.

He further explained that efforts are being made to trace persons they may have contacted whilst in the country.
