Controversial media personality, Captain Smart has returned to old ways after his release from National Security custody and t his time he has attacked the personality of the incumbent president of Ghana.
Captain Smart during his daily morning show program on February 4, labeled President Akufo Addo a corrupt leader and because of his character, he can’t fight corruption in the country.
The Onua TV presenter one of the conveners of the #FixTheCountry demonstrators, expressed disappointment in President Akufo-Addo, despite endorsing him to become president in 2016.
“I told you, your excellency, you can’t fight corruption because you are it. Dare you to say ‘I, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, am not corrupt’. “Repeat,” he commanded.
“I have never received a bribe and won’t do so till I die,”
Captain Smart said that he will keep exposing the rot in government and pushing for a better Ghana.
It’s not the first time he’s accused the President or his appointees of wrongdoing.
“Have you heard President Akufo-Addo recently declare he is not corrupt? He is surrounded by corruption and cannot speak about it because he is surrounded by it.”
His incorruptibility is no longer valid. “Theft is President Akufo-closest Addo’s friend.”
