The latest update from the Ghana Health Service(GHS) on the deadly virus reveals that the country’s death toll has increased to 607 after eight more were recorded.

The number of active cases has also increased by 409 new cases, making it a total of 84,023 cases recorded in the country so far.
However, 77,972 people have recovered and been released from treatment facilities, although the number of open cases has fallen to 5,444.
Meanwhile, the President of Ghana, Nana Adoo-Dankwa Akufo Addo has advised Ghanaians to take the vaccine, adding that there is no tracking device, neither does it have an intention of wiping the continent.
Earlier today, the President and his wife, Rebecca Akufo Addo have already been injected with the vaccine at the 37 military hospital.
