Portugal’s captain, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Ghanaian football legend, Asamoah ‘Baby Jet’ Gyan as they become the only two players to score in nine consecutive major international tournaments.
This was after Cristiano Ronaldo scored his side in their win over their fellow European country, Hungary in the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament currently going on.
This was made known in a recent tweet by Squawka. The tweet reads;
“Only two players have scored in nine consecutive major international tournaments: World Cup + Euros / Copa América / AFCON.
Asamoah Gyan 🤝 Cristiano Ronaldo.”
