Former FIFA footballer of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo has set another record.

This comes after his hattrick against Tottenham Hotspurs in the recent match played between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspurs.

The match ended 3-2 in favor of the Red Devils and it was Ronaldo who stole the show as he did not only score three goals, he also became the all-time top scorer in professional football.

He broke Josef Bican’s previous record of 805 goals, according to FIFA records, and as we speak, the 37-year-old has now scored 807 goals.

This comes after he recently became the first athlete to have over 400 million followers on the popular social media platform, Instagram.

He reacted to this as he appreciated his fans for their support since the start of his illustrious football career.

Sharing a video of himself, he wrote;

“4𝟎𝟎… 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 🙏🏽🙌🏽 #alwaystogether”
