Ambrose Dery, Interior Minister has endorsed a letter dated 24th July 2020 showing that 31st of July which happens to be Friday is a Public Holiday in Ghana.
This day marks the celebration of Eid-Al-Adha.

The letter reads:
“PRESS RELEASE DECLARATION OF FRIDAY, JULY 31, 2020 AS PUBLIC HOLIDAY — EID-AL-ADHA
The general public is hereby reminded that Friday, July 31, 2020 which marks Eid-Al-Adha, is a statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country.
The general public is advised to observe the safety protocols associated with the novel coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), especially in relation to social events at public places.
