‘Mind Games’ happens to be her last release in November. DJ Brooke Bailey, real name Maymuna Suleyman has been in the music scene for a while and is known for her smooth blend of songs.
Brooke was born to a Ghanaian father and Belgian mother. She discovered deejaying in 2008 when the manager of a deejay friend convinced her to pursue a deejaying career as there was a serious lack in female deejays. Her first gigs included opening for then hugely popular acts such as Brick & Lace and Kevin Little.
Brooke is gradually carving out a unique space for herself in the global music scene and is undoubtedly one of the gifted female DJ’s doing things differently.
