According to him, the company has increased the prices of all their alcoholic beverages and will still increase it as time goes on. He urged Ghanaians to get prepared to pay new prices for any of their alcoholic products if they want to drink any.

He added that if anyone cannot afford to pay the new prices, they can opt for water instead of alcohol. “We have increased the price of alcohol and we will continue to increase it. If you are not ready to buy then stop drinking alcohol and drink water,” Jumah said as quoted by Nhyira FM on its Facebook page.

The post from Nhyira FM on Facebook has attracted different reactions on Facebook. While some described the comment of Mr. Jumah as disrespect to customers others also say they will not be any way affected because they don’t drink.
