An earth tremor has been recorded in parts of the capital, Accra. People living around Gbawe, Sowutuom, Old Kasoa Barrier, New Bortianor, Awoshie, Abelemkpe and McCarthy Hill have all confirmed their experience on social media already.
We gathered this natural phenomenon occurred few minutes after 11:30 pm on Saturday. Although an earth tremor is a frightening moment, those who experienced have excitedly taken to social media to reveal their experience.

Earthquakes are natural episodes that occur when rocks beneath ground break, causing sudden releases of energy described as seismic waves.
