Despite earning waves of flak for her horrible music when she transitioned from acting to the music world, an unperturbed Emelia Brobbey has hinted at serving music lovers with a new single.

The popular Kumasi-based actress who stunned Ghanaians by adding music to her resume said she’s unveiling a new track on January 12 as a birthday gift to her fans after clocking a new year on January 6.

With a measure of confidence., she assured her fans that it will be a banger instantly. Regarding her birthday, she wrote thus on Facebook;

A Queen was born today 👑👑👑🎶🎶 New single from @emeliabrobbey dropping on 12th January 2022 #mizEB 🎶 Happy birthday QUEENEMM 🙏🙏🙏🙏

Emelia Brobbey recently said despite the heavy trolling she has been getting since she decided to incorporate music into her brand, she won’t quit anytime soon.

The Ghanaian actress has faced massive mockery after she dropped her first single, ‘Fa Me Ko’ to kickstart her music career but she says the flurry of unpleasant words which have been hurled her way won’t deter her from applying the brakes on her young career.

“There is no way I am giving up music because of criticisms I faced in the music industry. As a new artiste, especially as an actress trying my hands at music, people will talk about it but that will not make me stop what I love doing. I am doing well in the music industry and there is no stopping me,” she told Graphic Showbiz in an interview recently.

According to Emelia, releasing five singles accompanied by videos from last year till now should tell anyone that she was serious about music.

“I have music videos to all the singles I have released and Makoma (featuring Kuami Eugene) hitting over 1.6 million views shows that I am doing well and I need to be appreciated. How many musicians get 1.6 million views for their videos in four months?” she said.
