He gained recognition as the founder and president of Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA), also known as Forward In Faith Ministries International (FIFMI) worldwide. Guti firmly believed that the church he established was not his own, but rather belonged to God.

ZAOGA FIFMI had its humble beginnings under a gum tree in Bindura, Zimbabwe, on May 12, 1960. However, as of 2023, the ministry has expanded its reach to over 140 nations and states around the world. Notably, FIFMI operates as a debt-free organization, acquiring centers across the globe through cash purchases, in alignment with the ministry’s vision. These centers can be found in various countries across Africa, Europe, the Americas, Australia, New Zealand, and beyond.

The headquarters of ZAOGA FIFMI is situated in Waterfalls, Harare, Zimbabwe. In the United Kingdom, the ministry is known as Forward In Faith Church International Incorporated (FIFCII), while in Mozambique and other Portuguese-speaking nations, it is referred to as ADA, which stands for Assemblia De Deus Africana.

He shared his wisdom and teachings in Bible schools, colleges, universities, and through various television and radio programs.

Academically, Guti attained several degrees and qualifications, including a BA, MA, DD, D.Min, and a Ph.D. in Religion. He had his Bachelor of Christian Education and Doctorate studies at the prestigious Northgate Graduate School and Zoe College in the United States of America.

Recognizing the importance of education and healthcare, Guti played a pivotal role in the establishment of Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University in Bindura, Zimbabwe, despite some controversies surrounding land acquisition.
