Joy TV’s sports show Gary Al-Smith has reported that some fans at the Baba Yara Sports stadium passed out even before the match would start.

Some Ghanaians filled up the Kumasi Sports stadium in the early hours of 8 am preparing for the match between Ghana and Nigerians.

In a tweet sighted on the page of these ports journalist, he reported that some fans have already been hospitalized after they passed out at the sports stadium perhaps out of nervousness. Most Ghanaians expressed their nervousness even before the match began.

Gary Al Smith has said that Ambulance at the stadium has been very busy following the number of people passing out of over-excitement and other health-related issues.

“Ambulances have been busy. Lots and lots of fans fainting even before kickoff. The stadium is not full – it is packed. #GhanavsNaija@BetKingGhana#JollofDerby“, he tweeted.
