Embattled Ghanaian businessman, Nana Appiah Mensah who is known as NAM1 is set to be arrested.

This comes after a recent ruling by the Adentan Circuit Court and during the ruling, a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.

The bench warrant issued also involves two others and it became necessary after they failed to appear in court to answer some charges against them.

Aside from Nana Appiah Mensah, the two others who are set to be arrested are Gabriel Kwamigah who is known as Gabby, and Eric Amponsah Bediako who is also known as Cana.

These three accused persons have been charged with conspiracy to defraud by false pretense.

Meanwhile, the government of Ghana has finally completed the takeover of telecommunications giant, AirtelTigo.

This was revealed in a recent statement released by Bharti Airtel and the statement indicated that it has successfully done all regulatory filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The statement reads;

“This is in further to our announcement dated October 27, 2020, and April 16, 2021, regarding Government of Ghana’s takeover of ownership of Airtel/Tigo Joint Venture. We wish to update that the transaction has been completed and 100% shares of Airtel Tigo have been transferred to the Government of Ghana.”
