The Government of Ghana is set to receive the first consignment of COVID-19 vaccines.
The consignment will arrive in the country on Wednesday, February 24 and this was revealed in a statement by the Ministry of Information.
According to the ministry, there will be a short ceremony and the government delegation will be led by the Minster of Health designate, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu.
As part of it efforts to curb the deadly COVID-19 disease, the government of Ghana is set to vaccinate a whopping 20 million Ghanaians.
