Reports we are receiving indicate that a funeral home employee has reportedly been dismissed for taking a picture of himself next to the open coffin of the late football legend, Diego Maradona.
The photo is a bit disturbing and it captured the moment this worker posed next to the corpse with his thumbs up in the air.
He was supposed to prepare the body of the football legend for the wake, however, he had a different plan which was to take a selfie with the lifeless body.
Confirming the news to the local media, the owner of the funeral home, Sepelios Pinier funeral parlour stated that it was unfortunate an employee of the funeral had the nerve to do this adding that the employee has been sacked with immediate effect.
The football legend was confirmed dead on November 25 after suffering a cardiac arrest just days after undergoing a surgery to remove a blood clot from his brain.
