Staff of the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation (GBC) have indicated that they will not reduce the state broadcaster’s channels.

A 60 days deadline was given to them to reduce the channels by the minister of communications, Ursula Owusu.

GBC has also warned that the move could lead to a collapse.

According to the secretary of GBC union, Nutor Bibinii he revealed that they will protest the government’s decision until Ursula Owusu change her mind.

He stated that it’s a humble advise to the minister of communication because it’s for the state and no political activist can come for it.

He therefore quizzed that if the previous minister of communication each how many would it have left?

GBC is said to be operating on the DSTV, GBC T1 and DTT transmission platforms.
