Ghana Football Association (GFA) have confirmed Thomas Partey will miss the Black Stars upcoming games against Sudan.

Black Stars will play Sudan in a double-header Africa Cup of Nations qualifier this month.

The first match is scheduled for Thursday in Cape Coast with the return in Khartoum next week Tuesday.

But the team will be missing the services of deputy captain. The Arsenal midfielder injured himself over the weekend and has been ruled out.

“Arsenal have confirmed that the player picked up a minor sprain in his ankle and would require treatment in London.

As a result, Partey, will not travel to Accra for the double-header against Sudan as he continues his treatment in North London,” GFA wrote on their website.
