In a recent statement released by the Ghana Armed Forces, reports suggesting that soldiers deployed in the Volta Region as part of security measures to ensure the smooth running to the voter’s registration were violent and intimidating are false.

The statement signed by the Director of Public Relations, Colonel Emmanuel Aggrey-Quashie noted that their independent checks and verifications proved that no act of intimidation or violence has been recorded so far.
