His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, President of Republic of Ghana, on Sunday 20 September, 2020, in his speech on Ghana Covid-19 updates said his solemn duty is to protect Ghanaians lives from the desease.
The President made his 17th update on Covid-19, from the Jubilee House, President Akufo.
He said ““Let me assure you again, that as the president of the Republic, I will do everything in my power to protect you and stop the importation of the virus into our country on limiting it spread. This is my solemn commitment to you.”
Again, President Akufo-Addo said many individuals and stakeholders have worked tirelessly hard to just throw their commitment to fighting Covid-19 with government flimsy decisions.
“The truth be told, we cannot afford at this critical moment, throw caution to the wind and destroy the incredible amount of work undertaken by government, health officials, heroic front-liners, health worker and members of the security agencies in bring us this far. He added.

His Excellency the President of the Reblic of Ghana, urged Ghanaians to continue to adhere to all safety protocols laid down by the Ghana Heath Ministry and alo, World Health Organization.
“Now more than ever, we must be even more disciplined, in our adhearance to our personal hygiene, mask wearing and social distancing measures.” He eded.
