In a very sad 90 munites of football played, the black stars couldn’t recover from Nicholas Opoku’s first-half own goal.

Christian Atsu – 7.0

He was fantastic and he was one of Ghana’s bright players. In some occasions his crosses went to no available player.

Edwin Gyasi – 5.0

He was anonymous for most aspects of the game.

Thomas Partey – 9.0

Ghana’s man of the match. He had a quiet first half but he dominated the game when he was tasked by Kwesi Appiah to play in the midfield.

Majeed Warris – 8.0

The diminutive forward gave the Kenyans back four lots of problems. He won some fouls for Ghana.

Kwadwo Asamoah – 4.0

The inter milan defender was introduced late and couldn’t have an impact on the game. It was his first game for the Black Stars after four years.

Ebenezer Ofori – 4.0 

Ofori was seen on the pitch not having his day at all. With his dazzling skills, lots was expected from him. But he failed to drive his side’s forward.

Afriyie Acquah – 6.0

Acquah missed his header from close range. The Empoli middelman failed to protect his back four in the game whiles he issed glorious opportunity in the second half.

Nicholas Opoku – 6.0

He was excellent at back despite scoring an own goal.

Daniel Opare – 4.0

He failed to live up to expectation, he was poor on the day.

Andy Yiadom – 6.0

The Reading defender made some decent surging runs and he was solid at right.

Daniel Amartey – 7.0

He showed leadership and he displayed some great piece of football. Sometimes he surged forward in search of a goal.

Richard Ofori – 8.0

He was rated the highest among the players on the day, there was nothing he could do when Nicholas Opoku’s strike went past him; indeed he was superb.

Harrison Afful – 4.0

He was substituted just like Kwadwo Asamoah but his performance was too ittle.

Rapahel Dwamena – 5.0

Dwamena wasted decent chances to score. He will definitely wish for a better performance in front of goal next time.
