Ghanaians have a cause to rejoice as the country has been named in the top ten most prosperous African nations.

This was revealed by the Legatum Prosperity Index and the list had Ghana’s noisy neighbor, Nigeria, missing out.

The first on the list is Mauritius and it had countries like South Africa, Morocco, Tunisia, and Namibia.

The Legatum Prosperity Index is a tool for transformation, offering a unique insight into how prosperity is forming and changing across the world.

Ghana is number 9 on the African list and on the world stage, it is the 100th country. See the list of the top 14 most prosperous African countries below;

This comes after Ghana was once named the third most peaceful country in Africa. In the whole world, the country is the 43rd peaceful country and this is according to the 2020 Global Peace Index. This was revealed in a recent social media post by Africa Facts Zone on the micro-blogging platform, Twitter.
