The candidate for the Odododiodoo constituency of the opposition party, Nii Lante Vanderpuye has disclosed in an interview on GhOne that he has been attacked by a group of men in police uniform in his hotel room.
According to him, some NPP members attacked him which made him lock himself in his hotel room. But unfortunately, some men dressed in police uniform believing to be policemen threw tear gas into his hotel which has affected him as he was heard coughing in the background during the interview.

He has however not been able to identify the said policemen who allegedly attacked him and his family.
