The President of the Republic of Ghana Akuffo-Addo has set aside a day to observe a national day of prayer and fasting in the country to seek the face of God over the outbreak of the novel COVID-19.

The President has set the 25th Of March 2020 aside as a national day of prayer and fasting. He is calling on all religious bodies (Christians, Muslims ) to join forces to seek the face of the Lord to end the novel COVID-19 that has brought the whole world to it’s knees.

Ghana has so far recorded nineteen (19) cases of which one of the patient has been pronounced dead this evening.

President is urging everyone to adhere to the rules relayed out to avoid the spread of the virus.
