A Ghanaian referee, Charles Bulu was rushed to the hospital while officiating a match between Ivory Coast and Ethiopia at the Stade Felix Houphouet-Boigny.

According to a report by Celebritiesbuzz, players on the pitch noticed he Charles Bulu was struggling to stand on his feet and while trying to help him stand, he fell on the field and the medical team had to rush to the field to attend to him.

The incident happened at the 80th minute of the AFCON qualifiers game bringing proceeding to a halt as the fourth official could not continue from where Charles left off to prevent conflict of interest as he was an Ivorian.

The game ended 3-1 in favor of Ivory Coast, however, the result has no effect on any of the teams because they already secured a place in the 2021 African Cup of Nations tournament.
