Ghanaian politician, Hassan Ayariga has bewailed that it’s a serious drawback when the senior national team, Black Stars select short players for the team.

Speaking to GhOne TV, Hassan Ayariga bemoaned that Ghanaians like putting short players in the field and we are going to have a problem with that. He further noted that height is a very important thing when selecting players.

Hassan Ayariga said it’s a disadvantage to us because Nigerians have huge players, and when Ghanaians are playing with them, it’s like a child playing against a father.

Hassan Ayariga went on again to say a short man won’t be able to play because automatically a tall opponent will overshadow him physically and mentally.

Hassan Ariyaga concluded by saying he isn’t against short guys but the strategy to win a football game is by playing with tall guys.
