We have chanced upon an interesting post about CAF Confederations Cup winner, Saani Mohammed.

The talented goalkeeper won the trophy with the continental club masters, Accra Hearts of Oak in 2004 and he even went ahead to play for the arch-rivals of the Accra-based club, Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

One would have thought he would not have ventured into any field considering how good he was in the goalkeeping field, however, that is not the case as he is now a police officer.

This was made known by one of Ghana’s top journalist, Murtala Yakubu and the post reads;

“One of the top goalkeepers 🧤 the @GhanaLeague has seen is Saani Mohammed 🔥
He won the Ghana Premier League in 2002 and the CAF Confederations in 2004 with Hearts of Oak 🌈 before quitting to join their arch rival Asante Kotoko 🦔 🚩
Now a Police Officer 👮‍♀️
