Sister Afia has wondered how on earth some people are able to establish and sustain long-distance relationships in contemporary times.

She noted that those who are able to maintain this form of relationship deserve accolades because she cannot do it. She said on Twitter, “But how do some of y’all do the long relationship thing boi me on God I can’t ooo boi.”

A long-distance relationship is an intimate bond between two people that, unlike conventional relationships, is set between people who are geographically distanced from each other, reducing greatly or nullifying face-to-face interactions and physical contact between them.

In other news, Beverly Afaglo has insisted it was not her idea that led to the creation of the GoFund account that triggered an opposite reaction from the internet which saw fans digging their fangs into her skin.

Apparently, it was Actress Yvonne Nelson who proposed the idea of creating a GoFundMe account for Beverly after her house was razed down by fire a few days ago. Yvonne had teamed up with other few celebs to set up her GoFundMe account to raise $20,000 after the disaster to help her out.

Unfortunately for Beverly, some malicious people dug up an old video of her which detailed how she bragged about being rich and globetrot around the world with the money she accrues from her chains of businesses and properties she owns.

Moreover, the money donation only generated $1,864, equivalent to 11,000 instead of the $2,000 they wanted for her.

She addressed the issue on Instagram Live on Monday;

“Yvonne Nelson contacted me and said ‘I want to open a GoFundMe [campaign] for you.’ I told my management about it and they agreed because people have been calling to support me. I told my husband and he was against it. Because he is a showbiz personality as well and he knows how evil the internet is.

“But we went against him and created the GoFundMe thinking that the love that I was receiving was going to be the same love that I’m going to receive but it turned around to hate. The moment Yvonne posted details of the GoFundMe campaign, hates and trolls started coming in from every corner.”

“Today, which is one week of what happened to me, I’m going to ask everybody doing the GoFundMe to end it, especially Yvonne Nelson. Akans have a saying that men create money but God distributes it. I’ll be fine.”

“I am grateful. Thank you very much. I don’t know how to put it, this cannot even rent a house but I am super grateful for all the love and donations. Even as little as GHC3, I’m grateful for all donations. They say the one who has little that will give you will give you more when they have more. I bless you. You will never lack,” she added.
