Ghana Premier League fans can now watch games at the stadium after the government eased restrictions on football being played behind closed doors.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports said in a statement on Tuesday that matches will be played with fans up to 25% of a stadium’s capacity.

Prior to the start of the current Ghana Premier League season in November, fans were banned from attending games due to spike in coronavirus cases.

However, the government believes the country is making steady progress in handling the virus and has therefore allowed fans to return.
