We have chanced upon a piece of document that suggests that the prestigious Golden Tulip Hotel has been sold.

Per what we gathered, about 60% of the shared of Golden Tulip has been sold to a Lebanese Company and this was revealed by the renowned Ghanaian journalist, Ernest Arhinful in a recent post on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Twitter.

The post reads;

“Apparently, the government has also sold 60% shares of the Golden Tulip Hostels to a Lebanese company called Lancaster.

Effective today, the hostel’s name change to Lancaster Accra.”

This drew some reactions from social media users. Some of the reactions are;

@nanakusinho – Then they should sell Tema Oil Refinery prɛko to a private individual to run it properly. Cos if TOR were fully functional, fuel prices wouldn’t have been rising at the current rate

@aqcosua – Eh are we sure we are even living in Ghana for free and that we have not been sold to be someone else’s property cus the rate at which this government are scandalous I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

@ManuelTaylor03 – Make dem sell the country mmom ei🤣🤣🤣🤣

@SeanMarstonn – You people were worrying about forest. They will sell your house while you’re asleep in it and ask you for money to help the country.
