The Minister for Roads and Highways ,Kwasi Amoako Attah has indicated that there will be no new contracts for contractors in the country.

According to the sector Minister,the directive is from the president of Ghana and as such the ministry will not award new contracts to any contractor at least for now.

Speaking to Citi FM and monitored by Ghgossip.com, Mr Amoako Attah highlighted that this move is to ensure substantial completion of all major projects before another one is touched.

President Nana Akufo-Addo has directed all his ministers, particularly the infrastructure ministers, including my good self, to ensure that we put a hold new contracts to complete or bring to substantial completion all the major projects”,he said.
