Yaw Eyifa Gorman, popularly known as Dr. Sting who happens to be a school’s Headteacher has reportedly been killed by some unknown gunmen at his residence in Cape Coast.

The incident was said to have happened on Saturday, 22nd May 2021 while the victim was returning from census training.
One of the deceased’s co-tenants told JoyNews that the event, which occurred at 7:40 p.m., had caused dread in the house as the headmaster was shot in the courtyard of his own home.
According to him, they heard a gunshot and raced outside to see what it was, only to discover that the man shot in his car.
“We were all in our room and we heard a loud noise ‘boom’. Some of us even though it was a knockout, then all of a sudden, we heard his wife screaming ‘Please someone should come and help me!’ So when we did, we saw his lifeless body in front of his steering wheel with blood in the car,”
The co-tenant who is still in shock after the incident described the deceased as a cordial and friendly and still doesn’t understand why the gunmen decided to execute their plot in his house.
“He has no issue with anybody in this house. This is disturbing and shocking because it didn’t happen anywhere in town but right in his house and that is what we are afraid of,” he said.
The Central Regional Police Command has also commenced investigation on the matter to bring the culprits to book.
