Health Minister, Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu has finally opened up on his Covid19 status after Nana Addo confirmed it yesterday.
He was earlier reported by the local media to have contracted the novel virus but a journalist, Afia Pokuaa debunked it that the Minister claimed he hasn’t tested positive for the virus.
Hon. Kwaku Agyemang Manu opened up in a social media post after the President, Nana Addo made his status public.
The minister expressed his gratitude to the president and thanked Ghanaians for the support.
“I Would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the President and all Ghanaians for your good wishes and prayers. By the grace of God, I’m responding to treatment”. He noted.
The President of the Republic, Nana Akufo Addo made the Health Minister’s status public yesterday during his address on measures taken to stop the deadly coronavirus from spreading.
According to the President, the Health Minister contracted the virus during the line of duty .
He disclosed that the Minister is in stable condition and urged Ghanaian to remember him in prayers.
