Ekitike and Reims agreed to a professional contract on July 12, 2020. On October 17, 2020, in a 3-1 Ligue 1 loss to Lorient, he made his senior squad debut. Ekitike signed a season-long loan with Vejle Boldklub of the Danish Superliga on January 29, 2021.
