American attorney, Hunter Biden is also the second son of the current U.S President, Joe Biden and his first wife, Neilia Hunter Biden

Hunter Biden was born on February 4th, 1970 in Wilmington, Delaware in the United States of America.  Naomi, Hunter Biden’s younger sister, and their mother perished in a car accident on December 18, 1972.

Despite suffering severe injuries, Biden and his older brother Beau lived. Hunter got a cracked skull and serious traumatic brain damage, while his older brother Beau sustained several broken bones.

Their father was sworn into the U.S. Senate there in January 1973 after they both spent several months there. Later, Hunter and Beau pushed their father to remarry, and in 1977 Jill Jacobs became the children’s stepmother. Ashley Biden, Biden’s half-sister, was born in 1981.

Biden attended the Catholic high school Archmere Academy in Claymont, Delaware, just like his father and brother. In 1992, he received a Bachelor of Arts in history from Georgetown University.

He met Kathleen Buhle, whom he married in 1993, while working as a Jesuit volunteer at a church in Portland, Oregon, the year after he received his college degree. He spent a year at Georgetown University Law Center before transferring to Yale Law School, where he eventually earned his law degree in 1996.

Aside from investing in hedge funds, venture capital, and private equity funds, Biden has had positions in government service, banking, lobbying firms, and the legal profession.

President George W. Bush appointed Hunter Biden to the Amtrak board of directors in 2006 for a five-year term. From July 2006 to July 2009, Biden served as the board’s vice chairman; he was succeeded as vice chairman in January and resigned from the board in February, just before his father was elected vice president. Biden declared that it was time for his lobbying activities to come to an end during his father’s vice presidential campaign.

Shortly after being commissioned, Biden was released from the U.S. Navy Reserve owing to a failed drug test. From 2014 until his tenure ended in April 2019, Biden served on the board of Burisma Holdings, one of the biggest privately owned natural gas producers in Ukraine.

In a Biden-Ukraine conspiracy theory promoted by the country’s former president Donald Trump and his allies since the beginning of 2019, Biden and his father Joe Biden have been the targets of unsubstantiated allegations of corrupt activities relating to Hunter Biden’s business dealings in Ukraine and Joe Biden’s anti-corruption initiatives there.
