Ghanaian music legend, Obrafour has disclosed that at a point in his life he nearly lost hope in God, due to his mother’s death.

This happened at a time when he was in senior high school, and the pain made him drop out of school and he became a ‘useless’.

He said this in a recent interview stating that the death of a mother could make you devastated enough to make decisions that can prove to be life-threatening.

“In 1997 my mum sadly passed on when I gained admission at St. Peters in Akwatia to further my education. I dropped out of school following her demise. My faith in God went down after my mother died. I started living the ‘kuborlo’ life…It was very painful at that time, but now I know that no matter how situations may be, God can change bad things for better. I regained and renewed my strength in Him [God] and it paved the way for ‘Pae Mu Ka’ to come.”, he said in the interview.
