Recall, the Achimota School denied the two students admission and indicated that the only condition that they will be enrolled into the institution is when they cut their dreadlocks.

The school came under criticism for their decision not to admit the two students because of their religion as Rastafarians.

Some Ghanaian celebrities like Reggie Rockstone and his wife to cut ties with the school over their decision to deny the students admission also lambasted the headmistress and anyone involved in the refusal to admit the student.

The Rastafarian students sought legal actions against the school, seeking the court to affirm their fundamental human rights in the matter.

Yesterday, the Accra High Court has ordered the school to enroll the student to continue with his education without any interference.

In reaction to that, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa said that he is thoroughly happy for the two Rastafarian students for their victory in the case.

In a tweet, Mr. Ablakwa wrote; “Hopefully, all parties would come together based on mutual respect, understanding and compassion in ways that preserve both the iconic reputation of Achimota and the iconic reputation of Achimota and the future of the duo”.
