A Nigerian music entrepreneur, Chukwuebuka Gabriel Ilochonwu, popularly known as Ebuka, has said that his love for the development of raw talents is a motivating factor for him to invest in the music business.

Ilochonwu, popular known as Ebuka, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AJ Entertainment, said his business has seen him produce big Nigerian music exports who have in turn brought honors to their fatherland.

He said among such big names in the industry he has worked with include Blaqjerzee, a producer and artist, who has worked with popular musical sensations, the likes of Wizkid, Sarkodie, Tiwa Savage, Jaywon, Skiibii, Kcee, Efya, Mr Eazi, Harmonize, Diamond Platnumz, Tecno, Ice Prince, and Gyakie.

Though Ajegunle-born, Ebuka, a music record label owner, currently based in the United States, said, his global experience has helped his business and skillfulness which is why he said he is being sourced by artists home and abroad in packaging their new releases to their fans admiration. “I had a humble beginning growing up in Ajegunle, a downtown suburb in Lagos State.

The beginning was rough, as being raised in such a communal environment with different peculiarities also helped in building my self-confidence to succeed in life.

“It was from this early stage in my life I knew I would make it, as one had struggled to make headway among colleagues who were also uncompromising hustlers. So, if I’m recording successes today, even an enviable one, that was the foundation, that was where it started from, in the ability developed to liberate oneself from impoverishment,” Ilonchowu said. He also appealed to the government practitioners to further help in the area of the protection of intellectual property and the creation of opportunities to access low-interest loans and grants for people without good financial backup which they can access to boost their creative works.
