Days ago, we made a report about this 57-year-old lady, Elizabeth Yamoah who was the oldest student to write this year’s BECE.
The examinations ended on Friday, September 18 and in a recent submission, she couldn’t hide her joy after finally accomplishing one of her dreams.
She attended Odoben Presby Basic “A” JHS and in her interview with Citi News, she said;
“When I made up my mind to go to school people in my community mocked me. Some even said that I should leave education for the young ones but I was determined to learn how to read and write and that helped me through my education. I will fulfil my dream of becoming a nurse.”
