“Even though the case has been delayed, I will say that I am happy it has not died,” Mr. Azure said.

“There are some that we have done that didn’t travel this far though there was enough evidence for the state to have gotten a conviction,” he noted.

Manasseh Azure investigated the Talent Discovery Limited (TDL) which was owned by Mr. Adjei who got government contracts through restricted tendering and sold those contracts to others in double folds for profits.

“I tried to find out where exactly it was taken to, and I couldn’t really get any answers, and I am just wondering what may have happened,” he said.

The special prosecutor, Kissi Agyebeng has released a press statement disclosing that the former chief executive officer of public procurement has been charged with 8 counts of using public office for profits and nine counts of directly and indirectly influencing the procurement process to obtain an unfair advantage in the award of procurement contracts.
