The founding President and CEO of policy think-tank, Imani Africa, Franklin Cudjoe has singled out Hassan Tampuli, boss of National Petroleum Authority (NPA) for praise in the fight against corruption, saying his outfit saves the country a whopping $300M from going to fraudulent people yearly.

“Another man doing well in curbing waste is CEO of the National Petroleum Authority, Hassan Tampuli. But for his vigilance, Ghana would be losing over $300m to fuel fraud this year,” Franklin Cudjoe revealed on social media.

Hassan Tampuli who is a private legal practitioner, became CEO of the NPA in 2017 when the New Patriotic Party (NPP) assumed the reins of power.

As CEO, he has been hailed for his outstanding performance, especially in tackling smuggling of petroleum products.
