Parliament has summoned the Minister for the Interior, Mr. Ambrose Dery to appear before the house for interrogation concerning the death of Mfantseman MP.

This directive was by the speaker of Parliament Prof. Aaron Mike Oquaye in relation to the killing of the MP for the Mfantseman Constituency, Ekow Quansah Hayford.

The Minister of Interior is expected to report to the house on Tuesday 13 October 2020.
Prof. Oquaye also wants the Minister to brief the House on measures to protect MPs.
