The International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) has issued an arrest warrant for John Mahama’s brother Samuel Adam Mahama following a role he allegedly played in the Airbus Bribery Scandal.
The reason for his arrest is that he has allegedly hand over hefty bribed in other to get public officials of Ghana to buy aircraft made by Airbus.
According to the statement, Mr. Adam Mahama is said to have work with others to create an entity with the purpose of bribing government officials to help Airbus sell aircraft to Ghana.
In the court case, Mr. Adam Mahama seem to fit the intermediary five because the roles of entities who funneled the bribe to government officials are described as intermediaries.
He allegedly facilitated the payment if bribes to influential government officials of particular interest is government official 1.
The ruling NPP government believes the said government official one is former president John Mahama who’s brother has been accused as the intermediary five.
