Benjamin Tetteh, a Ghanaian striker, said that it is challenging to get used to the high-intensity game in the English Championship.

The 25-year-old transferred from Turkish Super League club Yeni Malatyaspor to Hull City this summer for a reported fee of 2.3 million euros on a two-year deal with an option to extend for an additional year.

Since then, the former Sparta Prague player has appeared in six matches for Hull City, five of which were in the Championship and one in the Carabao Cup.

Tetteh has played 302 minutes and is yet to score, but he has supplied three assists, two of which came in their 5-2 loss to West Brom last Saturday.

He has now spoken candidly about his adjustment to Hull City, admitting that it has not been easy but that he is prepared for the job.

“Before I came here, I spoke to a few fans. They told me how it is here, so I think (I was) already mentally prepared,” Tetteh told Hull Live.

“It is difficult, but I think I’m trying my best to get used to it. I’ve not played in any league that has a high intensity like this. I’m trying to get used to it. Everyone is just running for 90 minutes.”
