Information available to ghgossip.com has it that the Vice Presidential Candidate of the National Democratic Congress, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has allegedly quitted from her position following the loss to Nana Addo-Dankwa Akufo Addo in the elections.

In a video sighted on Pinax TV on YouTube, Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang is resigning from her political post and resuming her previous post as the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Cape Co ast (UCC).

Report has it that Prof. Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang has moved all her belongings to Cape Coast to resume her former work as the Vice-Chancellor of UCC after her party lost to Nana Akufo Addo.

On the 9th of December 2020, the Chairperson of the Electoral Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensa declared Nana Akufo Addo as the President-Elect of the Republic of Ghana after he managed to poll 51% of the total election results.

However, the NDC are claiming that the election results declared by the EC are not the real results as expected by everyone and has charged the EC to come out with the real one. They said they will resist all attempts to subvert the will of the people.
