For most of his junior career, Sinner participated in the ITF Junior Circuit. The Trofeo Bonfiglio was the only high-level Grade-A tournament that he entered during the period. After losing in the first round of Italy’s Grade A event in 2017, he advanced to the quarterfinals in 2018. He didn’t participate in any junior Grand Slam competitions. For this, his career-high junior ranking was a comparatively low No. 133.
