The president of Ghana, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has announced that Ghana will close all of its borders to human traffic. This is to curb the outbreak of Coronavirus in the country.

This means all of the nation’s borders – land, air or sea will be closed and this will last for two weeks.

The closure will be effective from Monday, March 23.

The president also commended Ghanaians on how they have helped to manage the outbreak.

He made these known during his third state of the nation address to address the Coronavirus outbreak in the country.
