The Ghana Football Association Executive Council has taken a decision on the Black Stars.

This comes at a time the country is preparing to play Nigeria in the World Cup playoffs. Reports reaching us indicate that Otto Addo has been appointed as the new head coach of the Black Stars.

The team will now have two assistant coaches and these coaches will be in the persons of Didi Dramani and George Boateng. We would like to wish the new technical team the best of luck and hope they bring success to the team by qualifying us for the World Cup in Qatar.

As we speak, the list has been submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for approval.

The Black Stars is currently without a coach after the head coach of the team, Milovan Rajevac was sacked following a very disappointing campaign from the team at the just ended African Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament in Cameroon.

The Black Stars failed to qualify from their group as they lost to Morocco and Comoros with their only point coming from their drawn game with Gabon.

After the shambolic performance, the team received some backlash from Ghanaians as they expressed their disappointment in the team.
